Easter Celebration

Holiday Event with Severely Ill Children in 2015

 

  As part of the "Wave of Goodness" program, volunteers from the "Unity of the Community" fund, along with students from Boris Grinchenko University, celebrated Easter with severely ill children with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, CNS disorders, autism, and Down syndrome. We also provided assistance to low-income and large families of displaced persons from the ATO zone (from Luhansk and Donetsk regions) who care for sick children. Thanks to our joint efforts, over 400 Easter cakes were delivered in time for the holiday.

 

 We also extended our greetings to the severely ill children at the rehabilitation center located at 10A Mayakovsky Street. In addition to the Easter cakes and sweets, children with cerebral palsy and CNS disorders received another portion of aid and essentials based on their needs:

  • Shoe covers (125 pairs)

  • Diapers for children aged 4 to 7 years (30 pcs, 17 to 30 kg)

  • Diapers for children aged 8 to 15 years (60 pcs, 27 to 57 kg)

  • Disposable bed pads (120 pcs)

  • Diapers for children aged 16 to 19 years (60 pcs)

  • Instrument disinfectant (Sterillium, 5 liters)

  • Granulated disinfectant (Javilaar, 1 kg)

  • Surface disinfectant (KwiDes, 1 liter)

  • Paraffin (TVK GROUP, 2 kg)

  • Ozocerite (TVK GROUP, 3 kg)

  • Dairy-free HiPP cereals (200 pcs)

  • Laundry detergent (25 kg)

  • Baby wet wipes (30 pcs)

  • Children's vitamins (60 packs)

  • Children's slippers (26 pairs)

  • Dishwashing liquid (Fairy, 11 pcs)

  • Diapers for infants (6th and 7th sizes, 28 pcs + 104 pcs)

  • Cushions (50x50, 3 pcs) + 1 cushion (20x20)

  • Bed linen (1 box)

  • Children's dish set (16 sets)

  • Exercise mats for physical therapy (10 pcs)

  • Children's spoons and forks (32 pcs)

  • Towels (30 pcs)
