Volunteer Award
Euromaidan SOS 2018
We thank Euromaidan SOS for the invitation and the presentation of the 2018 awards to our volunteers, and at the same time to the president of the foundation, Oleksandr Melnychuk, and the founder and project coordinator, Yulia Levchuk. The awards ceremony traditionally took place on November 30th at the "Ukrainian House."
For the fifth consecutive year, Euromaidan SOS recognized individuals whose stories serve as a source of inspiration, a model of compassion, effectiveness, and strength for others.
This year, 111 volunteers from across Ukraine were nominated for the Volunteer Award, as well as volunteers from other countries who made significant contributions to Ukraine.
Oleksandr and Yulia were recognized for their ongoing volunteer efforts and daily support for seriously ill children since 2007-2008, as well as for children with disabilities from the non-government-controlled territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, of whom nearly 3,000 are regularly supported by the foundation. These awards are also dedicated to all compassionate individuals who care about the suffering of children! It is precisely thanks to your support that volunteers are able to purchase, deliver, and provide essential assistance to children facing difficult life circumstances.
