Dear friends!

    Our charitable organization "Charitable Foundation 'Unity of the Community'" has received a request for help from the Darnytsia District Rehabilitation Center in Kyiv for seriously ill children, as well as children with disabilities who have come from the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The children suffer from conditions such as: CP (cerebral palsy), CNS (central nervous system damage), Autism Syndrome, Down Syndrome, and also have mental health issues and intellectual disabilities.

    Due to severe nervous system damage and musculoskeletal disorders, most of the children cannot get out of bed. The medical staff at the center tries to do everything possible to ensure effective operation within the department so that the rehabilitation of the children is successful.

    Unfortunately, the state only takes care of the salaries of the staff at the center, but does not provide for anything related to the children and their needs. For many years, the rehabilitation center has not changed towels, pillows, blankets, mattresses, and bed linen. There is no necessary heater or air humidifier for the children. There is a lack of hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and disinfectants. Essential children’s furniture, teaching materials, stationery, toys, and much more are missing.

   We ask all concerned individuals to help acquire everything necessary for the effective operation of the rehabilitation center and to assist children with disabilities! We would be grateful for any financial or material assistance (personally purchased) for the children with disabilities!
